“Katsutoshi Tsukahara – Shamisen Player” – Richard Smart and me for the The Global Post

When my good friend and journalist Richard Smart showed me a piece he had written about the shamisen player Katsutoshi Tsukahara for the Global Post and asked if I’d be interested in going to film him rocking out some non traditional music on his 3 stringed axe I of course jumped at the chance – Smoke on the water and Disco played on a shamisen? hell yes!

John Storey – Freelance Illustrator

When I was back in the UK in September one of the things that I really wanted to do was make a short film about the amazing illustrator and lovely man that is my father, John Storey.
It’s taken me a while to get it finished due to other work commitments but I’m finally ready to share it with you.
I hope that it conveys even a small part of the love and respect I have for him.
I feel truly lucky to have him as a father, he has been an inspiration both artistically and as a man my whole life and I feel so very happy that I was able to make this film.
