Almost exactly 10 years to the day after moving to this god forsaken place the Land of the Rising Sun I have finally pulled the handle on the exit door.
On an undisclosed day later this month I will bid this place a long LONG overdue permanent goodbye.

I’d like to say it’s been a pleasure but, well……..

It hasn’t.

What has been is the amazing friends I’ve had here over the years and just thinking of them brings a tear to my eye.
To all of you current and past my deepest gratitude, you have kept me (just) sane in the face of overwhelming odds.

And to you Japan I bid Sayonara in the sure and certain knowledge that I’ll miss you even less than you’ll miss me.
