Uchujin – Video Production Kit

Uchujin/Adrian Storey - kit overview

Someone asked me the other day WTF all the stuff I was carrying was, so I thought I’d do a quick post to show what I take when I leave the house to a shoot.

Main picture at the top shows my Think Tank Airport International roller bag (fits into overhead lockers on planes – though is often so heavy I can only just lift it up there;) , Rhino slider (amazingly smooth, robust slider – LOVE it), Sachtler Ace Tripod (lovely smooth fluid head, rock solid) and Manfrotto light stand bag containing 8ft lightstand, 6ft lightstand, fluid foot monopod and a Silver reflective umbrella.

mueller back brace

Lastly and possibly most importantly a Mueller Back brace which I ALWAYS wear when shooting or carrying gear. Cannot overstate how great this thing is for preventing hurting yourself when carrying all the above gear up and down stairs in crowded Tokyo subway stations. (I also have the knee braces from Mueller which I often wear when I know I’m gonna be on my feet all day)

So there you have it, that’s WTF all that stuff is.
