“Boys For Sale” – Sold Out World Premiere at Nippon Connection Film Festival

I was a little upset I couldn’t make it to the World Premiere at Nippon Connection Film Festival in Frankfurt last week of the film on Tokyo’s male sex workers “Boys For Sale” that I DOP’d.
Apparently, it was sold out and the Executive Producer Ian Thomas Ash and one of the participants “Co” held a 40 minute Q&A after the screening.

Unfortunately, it didn’t win an award at the festival but I heard people liked it, were engaged and several people commented on the camera work in the interviews so that made me happy.

I was also happy to receive a package of promotional materials from the screening and now have the framed poster on my wall, let’s hope I can hang some awards from other festivals next to it soon :)

Head over to the “Boys For Sale” website www.boysforsale.com for news on upcoming festival screenings.
